Case 3: A 24-year-old primigravida woman presents at 32 weeks of gestation with severe dysuria, frequency and urgency for 2 days.

The time-line of events/questionnaires.

We will focus on one Deptt in each quarter.

  • All events to be done during the Seminar time of the particular Deptt. The slots will be booked in consultation with the Clinical Lead.
  • Week 1: Preliminary interaction-presentation by key lead
  • Week 2: Filling and submission of the ASP questionnaire. Microbiologists too will fill the questionnaire (slightly expanded version). All faculty and post graduates will be encouraged to fill the questionnaire.
  • Week 5:  Education moment (after analysis is performed). First intervention requested (sending well collected samples from cases of simple cystitis for building  representative targeted antibiogram).
  • Wk 12: Post test assessment.

  • Questionnaire on prescribing patterns in Adult Community Acquired UTI

    This questionnaire focuses on the prescribing patterns in community acquired UTI. By filling it, you will give us invaluable insight into which areas we, the Microbiologists, Infectious Disease Physicians, Emergency medicine Physicians, and Clinical leads need to communicate more with you. This survey has been prepared by Dr. Meher Rizvi and Dr. Ken Masters.     There will be a short interactive session after a week, in which we will share the results of this study and discuss the answers.
